Axing out the billet face and making a smooth-ish template to draw spoon design

Drawing rough shape of spoon

Sawing out relief cuts for more axe work

Removing bulk of material from handle and shoulders

Axing out the face of the spoon to create angle from bowl to handle

Making last axe cuts to remove bulk material

Move to straight knife, start refining shape of spoon handle, shoulders and profile

Using a bent knife to hollow out bowl of the spoon

Further refining and removing of materials to get to ideal, final shape

Thinning out back of the bowl
